May 2026 Release: Outbound Message Translations

Written by Dhruv Walia

What Did We Release?

Outbound Translations adds multilingual support across Outreach and Messenger, powered by AI, so you can communicate with patients in their preferred language without relying on outside tools or in-house fluency.

  • In Outreach, with the single click of a button, translate English messages into the patient’s preferred language.

  • In Messenger, translation happens automatically at send time based on each patient's language preference.

Combined with inbound message translations - this functionality gives you bidirectional support for translations in 60+ languages.

Why Did We Build This?

We've heard from providers that translations are key but often forgotten part of delivering great patient care. Not all teams have staff that can communicate in the languages they need. As a result, they have to resort to a mix of Google Translate and hiring bilingual staff.

We built bi-directional translations in CareMessage to solve this problem.

How Can You Get Started?

For Translations in Messenger, simply toggle the translate icon.

For Translations in Outreach, add the preferred languages and hit the Translate Message button.
